Sunny Meade Winter Wedding in Scott, Louisiana | Sydney & Aaron

Sydney reached out to me to shoot their wedding video over a year in advance. This was the first time anyone had reached out this early and it really showed me how well you can plan and prepare the perfect video when you have time to get to know your client. We started off by making the perfect timeline for the day so that she could reach out to all of her vendors and let them know what times to be there on wedding day! We discussed what the most important components of the video were for her and made sure that I really focused on those parts of the day. When the wedding day finally rolled around, I was so excited to finally get to meet Sydney and Aaron in person. We started off with the groomsmen who were getting ready at Aaron’s parents’ house. They were relaxing, throwing darts, playing pool, and casually getting ready for the day. It was such a nice atmosphere and all of the groomsmen were so cooperative with getting the shots we needed! We also took Aaron aside and recorded him reading a love letter to Sydney to incorporate in the video. After we finished with the men, we headed over to Sunny Meade where the bridesmaids were getting ready. Sydney had all of her sweet girls helping her with hair and makeup and it was such a fun and electric atmosphere! We also pulled Sydney aside and had her read her letter to Aaron. It was so sweet that I may have teared up a little. The ceremony area was decorated with beautiful white flowers and the sun came out just in time for the ceremony. The reception was a true Cajun celebration with line dances and lots of food and drinks! Everyone danced the night away. Sydney and Aaron surprised everyone with an outfit change halfway through the party by changing into matching sweat sets! The exit was merely a formality as the party continued into the night long after my team retired. Cheers to the Arcements!
